ExpoAir stands at the vanguard of international cargo operations in Sri Lanka, having made its first Cargo Commercial flight to Male, Maldive Islands in August 1997. Since then, ExpoAir has made an invaluable contribution to the Export Cargo Industry by airlifting cargo such as Garments, Perishables and other merchandise to the Indian Sub-continent, Middle East and Central Asia.
ExpoAir has enabled local producers to be globally competitive by airlifting perishable products such as Fresh Fruits and Vegetables to neighboring markets when Exporters were finding it extremely difficult to meet their cargo requirements, thus playing a crucial role in maintaining Sri Lanka's market share whilst bringing in much needed foreign exchange to the National Economy.
