SELF HANDLING

Expo Aviation since May 2002, performs its own Ground Handling support service at Colombo Airport, Katunayake, and is the only local Operator (other than National carrier - SriLankan Airlines) to have achieved this facility. It is equipped to handle wide bodied aircraft such as B-747-F, B-707 A, DC-8 F etc. in addition to its present fleet of Cargo aircraft.

IMPORT HANDLING OPERATION

Commencing 2005, Expo Aviation has also commenced Import Handling Operations. For this purpose a bonded Warehouse has been acquired at the Bandaranaike International Airport vicinity.

CABIN CREW TRAINING ACADEMY

In 2004, ExpoAir took the initiative to set up the first ever Cabin Crew Training Academy in Sri Lanka approved by the CAA Sri Lanka. Its detailed training programme includes topics such as Aviation Studies, Safety & Emergency procedures, aircraft specific Crew resource Management, aviation first aid, aviation Security Survival procedures, Aircraft documentation, Food & Beverage service, In-Flight menus and Services, Passenger Handling & Personal grooming.

CHARTER OPERATIONS
