Expo Aviation has considerable knowledge and experience in this area as we were amongst the first to operate into Iraq and Afghanistan for the WFP and Multinational Logistics providers. We operated more than 200 AN12 flights for the US Postal Service on behalf of KLM/NW. All in all, we have operated more than 1000 flights into Iraq & Afghanistan for some of the most eminent organizations in the World.
Expo Aviation has considerable expertise in performing project Charters, having operated nearly 150 Charter flights in 3 months out of DXB to Kuwait for US mail, winning major accolades from our client, KLM Air Cargo. Other major Charter projects to Iraq and Afghanistan performed for the United Nations & other Customers include 40 IL-76 flights to Al Asad in Iraq carrying construction material and 150 flights into Kandahar in Afghanistan carrying perishables. Expo Aviation has also carried out ad hoc Charters carrying, among other things, sniper dogs, mini power stations and election materials to Iraq and aircraft engines to India and Sri Lanka
